CUR8 is a boutique art advisory + interior design firm founded by Ashley Ramos, a cultural curator offering clients 7 years of deep expertise in building buzz for global brands, while providing access to her tight network of top-tier collectors and influential artists.

With an international reach and intensely personal referral-based strategy, building lasting connections is core to approach in executing successful sales tactics that are truly millennial.

Ashley Ramos | Founder  + CEO

Immersed in the art world both domestically and abroad, Ashley provides access to the most coveted artists and cutting-edge marketing tactics. By leveraging her youthful high net-worth clientele and fruitful connections in the art-fair circuit, Ashley is keen on designing spaces that function as a platform to foster high sales volumes, while building exposure for her artists.

Alyssa Drake | Director of Operations

With a background in Languages, Renaissance Art Studies and International Business from Syracuse University, Alyssa has an academic and personal interest in art in all forms and eras. Having hands on experience running a family company, she has applied both this practical learning and academia with a drive to spearhead CUR8’s operations.

Polina Lysenko | Artist Relations & Operations Manager

Polina holds a Master of Science in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design. After being exposed to the art world, Polina decided to focus on her Capstone project about reimagining the relationship between gallerists and female artists to make it more equitable as women are being underrepresented and undervalued in the art market. She was determined to tackle these biases by introducing Artnonymity as her startup to speak up. She came on to CUR8 to bring her knowledge of the inner workings of the art market to the team.

Claudia Mannix | Special Event Coordinator

Having just graduated with a degree from History of Art & Architecture with French from Trinity College Dublin, Claudia was eager to utilise her skills in event management and her passion for art and design. Moving to New York City in January 2020, she was ready to enter the art world and to apply her academic and personal skills and enthusiasm to contribute to a company. With a background in event managing, art installation, photography, and a thesis specialising in architecture, her interests lie within a wide array of disciplines, and it is this  that attracted her to CUR8 Gallery.

Lana Lacey | Gallery Assistant

Lana Lacey is an arts educator with significant experience in producing successful workshops, intensives and day camps for enthusiasts and practitioners of all ages and backgrounds. A student herself, she attends the Art Student League of New York City where she pursues her passion for figurative realism expressed through the mediums of painting, illustration and ceramics. She has also studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the University of California at Los Angeles. She strives to expand opportunities for access to arts education to the Cur8 community.
